How often do you think about your ears and how you hear? What sounds are TOO loud? Do you know what you can do to protect your ears? Do you know what a cochlear implant can do?

If you're interested in finding out more about the fascinating world of hearing and cochlear implants, come and visit our exhibit. Through interactive activities, you will learn about the sound level of everyday noises and find out what sounds can be damaging to our ears.

You will learn about different hearing interventions such as hearing and cochlear implants, and why they are important for not only our hearing but also our brains!

You will get the chance to hear about what is like to live with hearing loss and to wear a cochlear implant from members of ALL_EARS@UoS, our patient and public involvement and engagement group (PPIE).
