The world of hearing and cochlear implants
How often do you think about your ears and how you hear?
What sounds are too loud?
Discover what you can do to protect your ears and learn about the incredible technology of cochlear implants. Through interactive activities, you'll find out the sound levels of everyday noises and understand what can be damaging to our ears.
Engage in hands-on activities where you will learn about different hearing interventions, such as hearing aids and cochlear implants, and why they are crucial for both your hearing and brain health.
You will also have the chance to hear from members of ALL_EARS@UoS, our patient and public involvement and engagement group, about what it's like to live with hearing loss and wear a cochlear implant.
