Join us in exploring the cutting-edge findings from our ongoing heat flex field trial, LATENT (residential heat as an energy system service), aimed at understanding whether we can take temporary control of household heating to reduce demand during peak times or low generation periods. At our exhibition, participants will engage in an interactive session where they'll sketch their typical daily electricity usage profile and delve into how this might evolve, considering the potential adoption of electric vehicles and air source heat pumps for heating.

Attendees can view a short animation introducing the LATENT heat flex field trial, following which, our team will share initial study findings, inviting valuable feedback and commentary on the insights gained and future directions.

The exhibit will feature a populated dollhouse display, visually illustrating residential energy demand dynamics with a number of poster boards showcasing various aspects of the Energy and Climate Change's work on exploring the relationship between people and technology, specifically with regard to constrained electricity supply in cities.
