Get your free signed copy of the children's fiction book written by astronomer Dr Sadie Jones - and meet Sadie!

The book is about a young girl called Seren who is neurodivergent and accidentally ends up on an adventure in Svalbard to rescue some kidnapped space scientists from the University of Southampton. Seren also makes friends with a polar bear cub called Lova and you can meet Lova's mother, Urzsula at the event and get your photo with her.

Sadie took inspiration for the book from her expedition to observe the aurora in Svalbard, Norway with the university's Space Environment Physics group. Find out all about the real-life stories that inspired Seren's adventures - and become an aurora scientist yourself by joining the Aurora Zoon citizen science project!
