Join the screening of two short documentaries filmed in Southampton in 2022 and 2023.
The recent pandemic forced most of us to focus on our neighbourhoods. As a result, we discovered spaces which many of us took for granted before...
'An Urban Green Adventure' and 'Is This Street Good Enough for Me?' are two short documentaries (12 minutes and 20 minutes) filmed in Southampton, that cast the spotlight on local streets and green spaces, and hopefully give you an insight into how each of us can benefit consistently from helping our local environments in small, meaningful, and rewarding ways.
After the projection, we will ask you to let us know about your local streets, and your travel habits.
Projection times:
- 'Is This Street Made for Me?' (20 min) every hour on the dot: at 11:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 15:00;
- 'An Urban Green Adventure' (12 min) at half past every hour: at 11:30, 12:30, 14:30 and 15.30.
We Make Southampton Community Media is looking for volunteers who enjoy walking, photographing and recording data.
