In this part two out of two workshops workshops, early career researchers at the School of Geography and Environmental Science, Faculty of Social Science at the University of Southampton, will provide you with an introduction to social science methods in the context of environmental change.
This workshop use examples from the Sargassum seaweed influxes experienced in the Caribbean and West Africa since 2011 to increase your confidence in using key stakeholder analysis methods.
All software and methods used are freely available to the public.
Workshop 2: Introduction to Stakeholder Analysis
Thursday 17th March, from 18:00 GMT
A 90-minute online workshop to learn what stakeholder analysis is, how you can use it, and why it might be useful. An opportunity to hear more about the impacts of Sargassum seaweed influxes experienced in the Caribbean and West Africa since 2011.
PLEASE NOTE: To participate, you will need a personal computer or laptop.
Don't forget to also sign up for the first workshop Tuesday 15th March, to learn about Google Earth Engine - Workshop 1: How can we use environmental mapping?
This event will take place online, on Zoom.
