Join the John Hansard Gallery team to celebrate International Women's Day with an inspiring talk by artist Emma Critchley alongside her current exhibition Soundings at John Hansard Gallery.

This thought-provoking exhibition combines filmmaking, choreography, and public engagement to address the urgent and complex issue of deep-sea mining.

We're excited to welcome you to the gallery to hear Emma in conversation about her work with curator Marleen Boschen, and to explore the exhibition.

Alongside their discussion, Emma will also read a short excerpt from the Rights of the Deep text, included as part of Soundings, before exploring the question: how can art sit in policy spaces?

LOCATION: John Hansard Gallery, 142 - 144 Above Bar St (SO14 7DU)
