Putting the fun in organ function
Our body is formed from many individual organs. They function together to keep us at a steady equilibrium throughout our lives but also allow us to do incredible things on the way - from unconsciously digesting and absorbing all the nutrients from the meal you ate last night, to running a marathon, or deep-sea diving!
But how much do you know about your internal organs? Where are they positioned? And why? How do they allow you to do all these things?
Join staff and students from the Centre for Learning Anatomical Sciences to discover the major organs of the human body and how they work. Come and have a go at placing model organs in their correct places, learning their names and unique functions, and matching them up to fun facts! We also have some word searches and colouring pages for you to take home.
