Science and Engineering Festival 2020 was planned to take place from March 6th - 15th, but on March 9th, all the remaining SOTSEF events including Science and Engineering Day originally scheduled for Saturday 14 March were postponed due to the increasing threat posed by COVID-19.

Due to many requests from researchers and the public, SOTSEF 2020 was then promptly re-structured and brought back as 'SOTSEF Goes Digital'.

SOTSEF Goes Digital ran from Friday 22 May until Saturday 25 July 2020 with a variety of activities, from downloadable resources, virtual tours, talks, podcasts and blogs to live workshops and Q&A sessions, to citizen science projects.

You can still watch, listen to and interact with the SOTSEF digital content by clicking the following button and exploring the bubbles with the satellite dish icon.

Please note that the 2020 website still lists all other in-person events that were available on campus last March. This is to give you the opportunity to see what is usually on offer during SOTSEF at the University and across the city of Southampton.
