Hampshire Bat Group aims to promote and support bat conservation in Hampshire, and to raise public awareness of British bats at county shows and festivals plus bat walks and talks. As a partner group to the Bat Conservation Trust, we participate in the national bat monitoring programme (NBMP) and in the UK bat care network for bat rescue and rehabilitation. Activities for members include winter meetings with bat-themed presentations, opportunities for surveying bat roosts, and training sessions in survey techniques and the use of bat detector equipment.
